Thinking of adopting an animal
from HSOC? We would love to have you come and visit our
shelter. Before coming to adopt, please make sure your
current animals are: (1) up to date on all vaccines,
including: for dogs - heartworm preventative, rabies; for
cats, have been combo tested for feline AIDS/leukemia and
rabies. (2) are inside animals; (3) are spayed or

Humane Society is operated by volunteers and funded only by donations and
adoption fees (which basically only cover the basic medical expenses and
boarding costs incurred for each animal awaiting adoption). Please
